Pharmacological action: the pharmacodynamics of fosfomycin is a kind of amide alcohol antibacterial drug, which has broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, but it has stronger effect on Gram-negative bacteria than Gram-positive bacteria. It is highly sensitive to most Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, including typhoid, paratyphoid, Escherichia coli and Salmonella. The Gram-negative bacteria that are sensitive to it include Pasteurella, Brucella, etc. Sensitive Gram-positive bacteria include anthrax, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium, pneumococcus, Staphylococcus, etc. Chlamydia, leptospira and Rickettsia are also sensitive to this product. It also has a considerable effect on anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium tetanus and actinomycetes. But Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and fungi are not sensitive to it.
Pharmacokinetics: This product can be absorbed rapidly and completely. After absorption, it is widely distributed in various tissues. It is mainly excreted from urine in its original form. The half-life of cattle and sheep is shorter than that of , and that of pigs is 4.2 hours.
Drug interactions:
(1) Macrolides and lincolamines have the same target as this product, they are all combined with bacterial ribosome 50S subunit, and can produce antagonistic effect when used together.
(2) When combined with β - lactams, it can produce antagonistic effect due to its rapid antibacterial effect.
(3) It has inhibitory effect on drug metabolizing enzymes of liver microsomes, can affect the metabolism of other drugs, improve the concentration of blood drugs, enhance the efficacy or toxicity, for example, it can significantly prolong the anesthesia time of pentobarbital sodium.
Function and application: amide alcohol antibiotics. It is mainly used for the treatment of bacterial infections such as intestines and respiratory tract of livestock and poultry and bacterial diseases of fish.
Usage and dosage: calculated with this product. Internal administration: once, every 1kg of body weight, 33.3-66.7mg of livestock and poultry, twice a day, two to three times in a row. Feeding of mixed bait: 16.7g fish per 150kg body weight, once a day, for 3-4 days.
Adverse reactions:
(1) This product is toxic to the blood system. Although it will not cause aplastic anemia, its reversible inhibition of erythropoiesis is more common .
