About Betaine
Betaine is a kind of natural vitamin substance that widely exists in plants and animals. It's white crystal powder, and tastes sweet.

Functions:
I. Provide methyl, act as methyl donor.
Efficient methyl donor, can partly replace methionine and choline chloride, reduce feed costs, and its methyl supply efficiency is 1.8 times of choline chloride 50% , and 2.6 times of dl- methionine.
II. Participate in fat metabolism, promote the synthesis of protein.
Add betaine hydrochloride in pig feed, can make the eye muscle area increase, reduce pig's average back fat thickness, improve lean meat rate and carcass quality. Add in chicken feed, can improve the chicken carcass quality and quantity of chest muscle, reduce abdominal deposition, lower feed conversion ratio.
III. Has food calling activity.
Betaine hydrochloride is a kind of quaternary ammonium type alkaloid, it can stimulate animal's s smell and taste senses, promote animal feeding, improve the utilization rate of bait perfectly and improve the feed intake and daily weight gain, it's the main ingredients of feed to take, has great temptation to fish's smell sense.
IV. Is the buffer material of osmotic pressure change violently.
When the osmotic pressure changes violently, betaine hydrochloride can effectively prevent cell moisture loss, improve the function of the NA/K pump, improve the objects' tolerance ability to the lack of water, high temperature, high salt and high permeability environment, stabilize the function of enzyme activity and biological macromolecules, thus regulate the ion balance of moisture in intestinal tract, maintain intestinal function, slow down the occurrence of diarrhea.At the same time, betaine hydrochloride can enhance the survival rate of seedlings especially young shrimp, fish.
V. Has synergy with anticoccidial drug, improve curative effect.
The compatibility of anticoccidial drug and betaine hydrochloride has buffer effect on the ion balance changes, thus improve the nutrient absorption rate, promote the growth of poultry.
VI. Protect vitamins.
Betaine hydrochloride does not destroy vitamins in feed, and has certain protective effect on the stability of the VA, VB in premix and concentrates, and improves the use effect.
