Product Description
Fish meal, or fishmeal, is a commercial product mostly made from fish that are not generally used for human consumption; a small portion is made from the bones and offal left over from processing fish used for human consumption, while the larger percentage is manufactured from wild-caught,small marine fish; either unmanaged by-catch or sometimes sustainable fish stocks. It is powder or cake obtained by drying the fish or fish trimmings, often after cooking, and then grinding it. If the fish used is a fatty fish it is first pressed to extract most of the fish oil.
1. Use for poultry
Use for pig, chicken, cattle etc, which need high protein feed, especially young pigs and chicken, because young poultry are in exuberant growth period, have high demand of protein and amino acid in protein. As animal protein, fish meal, its amino acid proportion is close to that of poultry need.
2. Use for aquatic animal
Use for fish, crab, shrimp etc. as main material of feed protein. Fish meal, its amino acid proportion is close to that of aquatic animal need, can promote them grow faster.
3. Use for fur animal
Use for some fur animals such as fox and raccoon, which are carnivorous, and in great demand of protein, fish meal, acts as protein feed, is a good selection to them.
